My Alma mater...School?Has not been just school...there is much much more to it.
Alma mater is Latin for "nourishing mother" & School has been rightly beyond so.
Some Pictures which I took last week:

First and yes importance wise first too: I thank thee for providing thankless souls like me food for 10 long years, and still overhear them crib while passing you, with FULL stomachs, about the food.

I thank thee for the shady respite and sitting place provided for our endless gossip sessions.

(Back Field)
I understand my Dear Ol' field that you have developed brown patches now that hard working souls like myself have left school and no more do very obedient kids like myself exist to attend the sports practise and fertilize the soil with their sweat.
Well,Here is the School Song sung every Monday morning at assembly:
God, keep this school and all who herein dwell
Safe from all harm and evil's mighty spell
Teach us to live so one and all may be
Proud of this land and man's equality
God grant that we may live in liberty
Lead us along the path of good and right
Lead us to greatness always in thy sight
All in the school who grow from year to year
May know the truth that thou art always near
And give their best without regret or fear
So in the end this school may grow in fame
All who are here may loudly sing its name
And through the years and from each day to day
May we have cause to rise and proudly say
God bless this school and all who herein dwell!
I seriously feel the depth of each and every word now.
Someone said:"There are obviously two educations. One should teach us how to make a living and the other how to live."
I think H.P.S has taught me not only how to live but taught it really well:To live without regret,to give your best at all times,to try your hand at everything,to lead a fiercely independent life ( I am SO thankful for being in a college which also preserves my immense independence now unlike other horrifying Engg. college rules I hear),instill confidence in you and the motivation to give your best to whatever you do and truly made me the person I am today.
